The Scissor Sisters Concert in Montreal

What a joyous GAY Night it was tonight. Peter and I went to see the Scissor Sisters tonight, from the U.K., at the Spectrum near Place des Arts. We got there with plenty of tie to sit and enjoy a drink and then took our place standing about 10 feet from the stage.

The preshow was a DJ Sammy, he was great. I heard some new music from him, which was nice. He spun some new tunes that I have to go out and find now. There was one piece that was the rift from Michael Jackson's (Billie Jean) with the spoken words of Martin Luther King, " I have a dream Speech" overlayed. It was quite striking seeing tomorrow is the holiday.

The show began with people screaming and yelling. I have to say IF you don't know who they are, I suggest you go out and get the CD, tracks include:

1. Laura
2. Take Your Mama - As performed on Saturday Night Live
3. Comfortably numb - As performed on Saturday Night Live
4. Mary
5. Lovers in the Backseat - ROCKS !!!
6. Tits on the radio - ROCKS !!!!
7. Filthy/Georgeous
8. Music is the Victim - ROCKS !!!
9. Better Luck
10. It can't come quick enough
11. Return to Oz

The band is personable and fun to go and party with. They were very entertaining as well, Jake and Dell were delicious on the eyes. We stood about 10 feet from the stage. Go see them if you want a couple hours of great music, lights and song.
